PRINCETON — The Bureau County Retired Teachers will meet at the Princeton Public Library at noon today, Thursday.
The library will be closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day.
Story time with Jim and Pam Horner will be held at 10:30 am. Tuesday. The program will be held in the Youth Services Department, and preschool children and their parents or guardians are welcome to attend.
On May 28, the Writers Group will meet at noon. There also will be an after school craft day from 3:30 to 5 p.m., and the Green River Book Club will meet at 7 p.m.

OHIO — Join us each Tuesday during the summer at the Ohio Public Library for the summer movie series “From Print to the Big Screen.” All movies are rated PG and will begin at 1 p.m.
The series will begin with “City of Ashes” on June 9.
All children and youth are invited to “Read on the Wild Side” this summer. This year’s summer reading program will take students on a reading safari through Africa. The meetings will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesdays June 10 through July 15. Registration information will be sent home before the end of the school year. LAMOILLE — Summer is just around the corner and LaMoille-Clarion Library is making plans for our Summer Reading Program. Dates, times and all of the fun details will be announced in the very near future.

WYANET — The Raymond A. Sapp Memorial Library’s Quilting Class for May will be “Machine Appliqué.” Anyone interested in learning how to appliqué by machine is welcome to stop by at 1 p.m.Tuesday. Yvonne Morman will be explaining the how-to’s.
The Book Group will meet at 7 p.m. May 28 to discuss “Loving Frank” by Nancy Horan.
June’s book will be “The Book Thief” by Markus Zusak. The book group is always open to new members.

DEPUE — The Selby Township Library District will have free blood pressure and blood sugar checks every month on every second Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and on every fourth Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. individuals are asked to fast before having their sugar checked.
