Cookout today

PRINCETON — The Princeton Veterans Group will hold a cookout beginning at 10 a.m. today, Saturday, at Sullivan’s in Princeton. The group, which will serve hot dogs, brats and butterfly pork chops, consists of American Legion Post 125, AMVETS Post 180 and VFW Post 4323.

Open house

SPRING VALLEY — St. Margaret’s Hospital gift shop will hold an open house from noon to 4 p.m. June 7.

Ice cream social

WYANET — An ice cream social will be held at the Wyanet Memorial Park after the 10 a.m. VFW parade and Memorial Day services at the cemetery. The menu will include ice cream, cake, barbecue, hot dogs and beverages. All proceeds will benefit the Wyanet Historical Society.

Reunion meeting

SPRING VALLEY — The Hall High School Class of 1969 will hold a 40th reunion planning meeting at 6:30 p.m. June 2 in the lower level meeting room of the Spring Valley City Bank. The reunion is scheduled for Oct. 3.
