Rose Mary Parisot
PRINCETON — Rose Mary Parisot, 90, of Princeton, formerly of Grand Ridge, died Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Colonial Hall Care Center in Princeton.
Born Nov. 2, 1918, in Ottawa to Charles and Mary (Langkamp) Argus, she married Richard L. Parisot April 22, 1946, in St. Francis of Assisi Church in Ottawa. He preceded her in death.
She worked at the McClellan’s Store in Ottawa for 10 years and later with her husband opened and operated Parisot Carpet Cleaning in Grand Ridge for 25 years.
She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Princeton and a life-long member of Catholic Daughters of America.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Ann Parisot and Susan (Grant) Blakey, both of Princeton; four grandchildren, Brooke Snyder, Jordan, Nicholas and Morgan Blakey; and one great-grandson, Gage Snyder.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Marie Parisot; one sister, Margaret J. O’Donnell; and one brother, Frank Argus.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Ottawa, with the Rev. Gerald Meyer, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Somonauk.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude in Peoria, American Lupus Foundation in Chicago or in the form of Mass cards.
