PROPHETSTOWN — New officers for  2009 were installed at the March 17 meeting of the Royal Neighbors of America, Prophetstown Chapter. Recorder/Treasure Betty Dennis and Ceremonial Marshal Gladys Swanson escorted the officers for the installation with each receiving a purple and white carnation flower. The new officers are Connie Murphy, vice president and event planner; Gladys Swanson, chancellor; Esther Kuelper, past president; Betty Dennis, recorder/treasurer;  Shelly Jaquet, junior director;  Mary Church, assistant  marshal; Janet Morris, courage; Alice Grimes, modesty; Sheila Raser, flag bearer; Donna Brooks, marshal; Kathy Raser, president; Alice Mannon, faith; Anna Mae Johnson, unselfishness and Pat Uhler, endurance.

The chapter also completed two service projects including donating food items and money to the Food Pantry and Happy Tails Animal Shelter.

All meetings and events are open to interested non-members and members of Royal Neighbors of America.
