Battery

Caleb R. Towne, 47, of Tiskilwa was charged with battery in the 1700 block of 1075 North Avenue at 9 p.m. June 5.

Carrie L. Williams, 32, of Wyanet was charged with domestic battery in the 100 block of South West Street at 9:45 p.m. June 7.

Crime against property

Brenda J. Landsiedel, 29, of Sheffield was charged with crime against property in the 200 block of South Adams Street in Sheffield at 3 p.m. June 6.

Deer accident

Tina J. Karns, 33, of Malden struck a deer near the intersection of 2000 North Avenue and 2500 East Street at 10 p.m. June 5.

Brian J. Walters, 35, of Henry struck a deer near the intersection of Interstate 180 and Route 6 at 5:24 a.m. June 5.

Brandon S. Leffler, 27, of Oneida struck a deer near the intersection of Route 34 and 1400 North Avenue at 1:55 a.m. June 6.

Mary E. Ryan, 67, of Wyanet struck a deer near the intersection of Route 26 and 2355 East Street at 10:46 p.m. June 5.

Accidents

Michael A. Holeman, 49, of  Nemaha, Iowa, and Aminah J. Reynolds, 21,of Bolingbrook were involved in an accident on Interstate 80 near Mile Marker 36 at 11:13 p.m. June 5. Holeman was charged with two counts of failing to properly secure a child under age 8 in an appropriate child restraint system.

Janis R. Davito, 57, of Spring Valley and Beverly A. Lamps, 61, of Peru were involved in an accident near the intersection of Peru-Princeton Road and 3450 East Street at 1:08 p.m. June 7.
