Robby Kane

PRINCETON — Robby G. Kane, 81, of Princeton died Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton.

He was born Sept. 28, 1927, in Tiskilwa to Magoon Kane and Edna (Reynolds) Kane.

He graduated from Tiskilwa High School in 1946. He farmed in the Princeton area, later being employed as a mechanic at Florida West Scott Groves from where he retired. He loved boating and earned his pilot license at the age of 16.

Surviving are two sons, Michael Kane of Princeton and Steven (Diane) Kane of Waterloo, Ill.; one sister, Wanda Eckberg of Peru; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Norberg Memorial Home, Princeton, with Pastor Laura Root officiating. Burial will be in the Putnam Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the services Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the donor’s choice.
