The Department of Illinois 89th American Legion Auxiliary Convention will be July 8-11 at the Abraham Lincoln Hotel and Conference Center in Springfield.

The purpose of the convention is called for the purpose of electing officers for the ensuing year and delegates and alternates for the National Convention, amending department bylaws, receiving reports of department officers and committees, and for the transaction of such other business as may be brought before it. The national convention will be Aug. 21-27 in Louisville, Ky.

Agnes Dunn of Tiskilwa will represent American Legion Auxiliary Unit 125 of Princeton as its delegate at the Department Convention.
