Princeton Elementary School Board 6-22

PRINCETON — The Princeton Elementary School Board conducted the following business at its June 22 meeting:

• Approved the employment of Christie Lucas as a full-time teacher at Logan Junior High.

• Accepted retirement requests from Charles Waca for June 2009, Bill Gregory for June 2011, Pamela Gutshall for June 2012, and Rick Kamrath for June 2013.

• Accepted the resignation of Maria Hartsough a a special education aide at Logan.
 
• Approved the retention of Nancy Franz as a vision consultant.

• Approved administrative and support staff wage increases not to exceed 3 percent.

• Approved an assessment of $10,000 with the city of Princeton for D.A.R.E. and resource officers.

• Rewed the lease of storage space from Gary and Kim Forristall in the amount of $300 per month.

• Recognized junior high track team and state medalist recipients.

• Discussed the proposal submitted for a student council at Logan Junior High.

• Approved a lease of equipment agreement with Key Government Finance in the amount of $167,032.
