Farmers market

LADD — The first Ladd Farmers Market will begin July 6 and be held every Monday through October from 4 to 7 p.m. Molly Thrasher is accepting vendors by calling (815) 894-2619. Some of the items will include baked goods, garden items, rain barrels, jams, jelly and honey besides produce and plants. Vendors are still being sought.

Crafters wanted

LADD — The Ladd Summer Fest is accepting crafters for its craft show on July 11. The show will start at 9 a.m. in Ladd Memorial Park. For information, call Molly Thrasher at (815) 894-2619. Ladd Summer Fest will run July 8-11.

Cookout today

PRINCETON — The Princeton Veterans Group will hold a cookout from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, Saturday, at Sullivan’s grocery store in Princeton. Hot dogs, brats and butterfly pork chops will be served along with chips and cold drinks.
