The University of Illinois tractor pull team, the Illini Pullers, won the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers International 1/4 Scale Tractor Student Design Competition and tractor pull, which was held May 28-31 in Peoria. Teams from around the United States and Canada competed. The tractors were judged on innovation, safety, serviceability, maneuverability, manufacturability, performance and other factors.
