Hall athletes earn spring 
all-NCIC academic honors

SPRING VALLEY — Hall High School athletes were recognized beyond the playing fields this spring, earning NCIC Academic All-Conference honors.

In boys’ track, Ben Dagraedt, Wade Herrmann, Austin Urbanski and Jacob Piccatto earned first-team honors and Kyle Miroux, TJ Mosbach, Bill Gaull, James Thompson and Tyler Sobin received honorable mention.

In girls’ track, Caity Nagel, Amy Haywood, Lindsay Wallaert, Erin Cissell, Katie Girard, Daniela Acamovic and Nicole Bland received first-team honors and Lacey Kwiatek, Lexi Grivetti and Jessica Grivetti received honorable mention.

In baseball, Brian Nolasco, Nick Rounds, Wes Herrmann, Jon Stuckert and Michael Swingel earned first-team honors and Chris Pullam, Connor Gonzalez and Nick Lower received honorable mention.

In softball, Claire Faletti, Christina Richardson, Nicole Kruse, Kaitlyn Ott and Erin Polte earned first-team honors and Sara Smoode, Kelsey Noy, Ashley Pietrowski and Allison Pelka received honorable mention.

The Princeton High School Tigers beat the Rock Falls Rockets Wednesday 66-55 during sectional play at Byron. The Tigers will now play the undefeated Winnebago Indians at 7:30 p.m. Friday for the sectional championship.
