Ohio Grade School

OHIO — The Ohio Grade School Board took action on the following items at its meeting June 23:

• Adopted a Prevailing Wage Resolution.

• Approved grade school fees as presented.

• Approved Title Grants for submission to the State Board.

• Heard there were two students hired by the BEST Students program for summer janitorial work. This service is no cost to the district.

• Heard a group from Jungle Jump-Off volunteered to assist with projects around the school July 21. Once again this is of no cost to the district.

• Discussed a feasibility study proposed by the superintendent of the Amboy School District regarding several area school districts. Flesher said that as of now, there had been no talk of Ohio Grade School participation.

• Employed, retroactively, Jill Thompson at $10 an hour to paint for the summer.

The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held at 7 p.m. July 21.
