Thomas and Deborah Towne of Dover are announcing the engagement and approaching marriage of their son, Aaron, of Schaumburg to Michaela Nave of Schaumburg. She is the daughter of Mike and Theresa Nave of Arcola.

The bride-elect received a Bachelor of Arts from Millikin University in Decatur and a master’s degree in education from Olivet Nazarene University. She is a Spanish teacher at Lake Zurich High School.

Her fiancé received his Bachelor of Arts from Augustana University in Rock Island and a master’s degree in education from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais. He is a P.E. teacher at Lake Zurich High School.

The couple will be married Aug. 7 at Chateau Busche in Alsip.
