Performances set

PRINCETON — Performances for “Urinetown the Musical” have been set for 7:30 p.m. July 23-25 and 3 p.m. July 26 at the Prairie Arts Center. This musical is a comedy where the poor people of the town riot against a rich businessman, Mr. Caldwell, who refuses them access to the restrooms. Meanwhile, Caldwell’s daughter, Hope, and the leader of the poor people, Bobby Strong, fall in love. Together the people fight for their freedom. Tickets are $8 and are now available by calling (815) 876-6442.

Concert

LASALLE — Easter Seals of LaSalle and Bureau counties “Concert for a Cause” will feature Alan Jackson on July 18 at the Cedar Point Sportsman Club. Tickets are $45 and can be purchased at Lou’s LaGrotto or by phone at (815) 223-3083.
