PHS registration set for Aug. 17
PRINCETON — Princeton High School sophomores, juniors and seniors will register for the 2009-10 school year Aug. 17. Sophomores will register at 9 a.m.; juniors at 10:30 a.m. and seniors at 1 p.m. The freshmen orientation program and registration will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Aug. 18. All students must bring their schedules to registration.
Students begin the registration process by reporting to the auditorium, located on the second floor of the main building. All juniors, sophomores and freshmen will have school pictures taken at this time, but payment for the photos will not be due until you have reviewed the proofs.
If it is not possible to pay registration fees at this time, make application for a fee waiver or delay of payment with Maria Gold prior to Aug. 14. Schedules and all registration information will be mailed the week of July 27. Any transfer student to PHS is asked to contact the school to set up a registration appointment.
Freshmen students reporting for their registration and orientation should arrive prior to 8:15 a.m. and bring a No. 2 pencil, their schedule and name tag. Parents do not need to attend the orientation or registration program.
Freshmen are also reminded that they must bring their completed dental and physical examination and immunization record at the time or registration. They will not be allowed to register or start school until these requirements are met.
The school year will begin at 8 a.m. Aug. 24 and dismissal will be a 2 p.m.
