St. Bede registration Aug. 4 and 5
PERU — St. Bede Academy seniors, juniors and sophomores can register for school Aug. 4 from 9 to 11:30 a.m.,12:30 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. Freshmen register at 9 a.m. on Aug. 5, and seniors, juniors and sophomores can register from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 4 p.m. on Aug. 5.
To register, parents and students will first visit the business office, then the school office and finally the bookstore. Students are reminded to bring their yellow registration sheets and a physical, if required.
After freshmen register they will attend Chaplain’s Day which includes activities, freshmen photos, tour of the building, lunch, locker assignments, textbook pickup and dismissal at 2 p.m.
There will also be a meeting for parents only of freshmen and transfer students in the Abbey Church at 7 p.m. on Aug. 5.
The first day of school begins at 7:50 a.m. and ends at 2:40 p.m. Aug. 19. An all-school Mass will be celebrated on the first day which requires students to follow the dress-up day dress code.
