SPRING VALLEY — A Princeton couple are the new owners of ServiceMaster Clean with offices in Spring Valley.

Chio and Chang Saeteurn bought the residential and commercial cleaning services franchise May 1 and moved the offices from Oglesby to 808 W. Dakota St. in Spring Valley.

“The office was in Oglesby for over 20 years,” said Chio, who said she and her husband were looking for a new endeavor and ran into this franchise that has been in existence for more than 55 years.

“We offer commercial and janitorial cleaning services at health care offices, retails stores, general offices and industrial,” she said. “We do carpet and windows, strip and wax floors and general janitorial from one day a week to seven days a week for one hour to 22 hours per day.”

The Spring Valley office employs 38 full- and part-time employees and services an area ranging from Peoria, LaSalle-Peru, Spring Valley, Morris and Ottawa.

“We are busier than ever,” she said. “The economy hasn’t affected us because people still want their buildings cleaned,” she added.

Saeteurn said customer service is very important to their business.

“We listen to and fully understand our customer’s needs, and there are no hidden costs or surprises,” she said. “We are committed to your satisfaction. If we don’t meet your expectations the first time, we’ll work to correct it immediately.”
