Jolene Rae Actis and William Andrew Linker were united in marriage Nov. 29 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, “Church on the Hill” in rural Princeton by the Rev. Kim Lee-Brown and the Rev. Robert Spilman. Nuptial music was provided by John Linker, brother of the groom, organist, and Kori Suarez, soloist.

The bride is the daughter of Raymond and Dolores Actis of Spring Valley. The groom is the son of Billy and Betty Linker of Princeton.

Lana Eddy, friend of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Heather Fusinetti, Amanda Peterson, Amy Peterson, Sarah Pyszka and Christine Eimer, all friends of the bride, and Melissa Actis, sister-in-law of the bride. Flower girls were Johnna Bogatitus, cousin of the bride, and Ava Eddy and Andrea Brandner, friends of the bride and groom.

John Linker, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Schlenz, David Hassler Jr., Joseph Brandner and Mario Data, all friends of the groom, and Raymond Actis Jr. and Jeremy Actis, brothers of the bride. Ushers were Brandon Bickett and Daniel Pinter, friends of the groom. The ring bearer was Kimo Petersen, cousin of the bride.

A reception to honor the couple was held at the Mendota Civic Center. Assistants at reception were Jessica Brouwer, Jordyn Petersen, Pono Petersen and Keila Petersen, all cousins of the bride.

After a wedding trip to Moon Palace in Cancun, Mexico, the couple is making their home in rural Malden.

The bride is a graduate of Hall Township High School and a 2003 graduate of Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in human resources management. She is employed by St. Margaret’s Health as employment and benefits coordinator.

The groom is a graduate of Hall Township High School and a 2001 graduate of Black Hawk East Community College with an associate’s degree in agriculture production. He is a self-employed farmer and is employed by Pioneer Hi-Bred as a sales representative.
