PRINCETON — The Bureau County Soil and Water Conservation District is holding its annual fish sell for stocking farm ponds this fall.

Species available include channel catfish, hybrid sunfish, largemouth bass, bluegill, black crappie, fathead minnows, triploid grass carp, redear and walleye.

The fish stock comes from Fountain Bluff Fish Farm in Gorham, a reputable hatchery in southern Illinois. A good variety of fish sizes are available. The deadline for triploid grass carp is 4:30 p.m. Sept. 23, and all other fish orders are due Sept. 30. Pick-up will be at 1 p.m. Oct. 8 at the USDA Service Center, 312 E. Backbone Road, Princeton.
