PRINCETON — The Princeton-Illinois chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will take part in DAR Days Sept. 16 at the Best Western Prairie Inn in Galesburg. To make reservations, call Evalynn Blanco at (815) 447-2433.

Other DAR activities for September include Constitution Week, Sept. 17-23. Bells will ring at 4 p.m. and the preamble to the U.S. Constitution will be read in honor of the Constitution’s 222nd birthday.

Members are to sign up with Lois Peterson at (815) 875-1508 for the bake sale items for the Sept. 18 lunch in the park.

The District II meeting will be at 1 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Illinois Veterans Home in LaSalle, with a Bingo party at 2 p.m.
