The Princeton Public Library is celebrating Roald Dahl Month during September. Dahl wrote such children’s books as “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” “Matilda” and “James and the Giant Peach.” To celebrate, Rachel Bystry will read from Dahl’s books every Tuesday at 3:30 p.m., and a movie made from Dahl’s books will be shown every Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. Children will receive a chocolate treat at the library every Thursday, and an after school craft day will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 24 to work on Dahl-related crafts. Celebrating the month by wearing the famous ears from “The BFG” and waving candy from “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” are Faustina Bystry (front row, from left), Christian Harmen and Simeon Bystry; and (back row) Amelia Bystry, Justus Bystry, Milo Bystry and Mason Levi. |
