Mr. and Mrs. Chris Richardson

Sarah Evenson and Chris Richardson were united in marriage June 27 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Bloomington, Ind. The bride is the daughter of Doug and Amy Evenson of Princeton. The groom is the son of Tim and Linda Richardson of Bloomington, Ind.

The bride wore a white, traditional, strapless, beaded Mori Lee gown with a white, satin trimmed veil and beaded tiara and diamond, tear drop earrings and necklace. She carried a hand-held bouquet of white roses, calla lilies and baby’s breath.

Mandy Evenson, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kari Decklever, cousin of the bride, Allison Lash, friend of the bride and Sarah Barth, friend of the bride. They wore black, strapless gowns with a teal, satin waist line ribbon and bow, and carried hand-held bouquets of white carnations, white sweetheart roses and baby’s breath with a teal ribbon.

Brad Richardson, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Matt McArdie, friend of the groom, Sean Ferree, friend of the groom and Cole Evenson, brother of the bride.
Ushers were John Huffman, friend of the groom, T.J. Venhuizen, friend of the groom, Matt Burkholder, friend of the groom and Jimmy Street, friend of the groom. Gordon and Liam Richardson, nephews of the groom, were ring bearers.

A reception to honor the couple was held at Chapman’s in Bloomington, Ind.

After a wedding cruise to Key West, Fla., the Cayman Islands and Ochos Rios, the couple is making their home in Bloomington, Ind.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Princeton High School and a 2009 graduate of Olivet Nazarene University. She is employed at the Jackson Creek Middle School in Bloomington, Ind.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Bloomington High School South and a 2008 graduate of Olivet Nazarene University. He is employed at the Union Savings Bank in Bloomington, Ind.
