DePauws will note 65th wedding anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Ervin DePauw of 230 S. Reed St., Sheffield will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Sheffield Community Center, 121 S. Church St. in Sheffield. The family has requested cards only and gifts be omitted.

Ervin DePauw and the former Audrey Middleton were married Sept. 16, 1944. They are the parents of three children, Jerry (Karen) DePauw of Wyanet, Richard (Mona) DePauw of Sheffield and Thomas (Peggy) DePauw of Kewanee. They have 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.

The couple are both retired from the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Geneseo and attend St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sheffield.
