Meredith Lyn Anderson and Jamie Todd Hattan were united in marriage during an outdoor ceremony June 27 at East Silent Lake Resort in Dent, Minn. The Rev. Rob Pesolia, pastor of First Methodist Church of Perham, Minn., performed the ceremony. Parents of the couple are Dennis and Connie Anderson of Princeton and Les and Donna Hattan of Lacon. Grandparents of the bride are Bob and Rita Anderson of Ohio, the late Bonnie Anderson, and Frank and Donna Cramer of Lacon. Grandparents of the groom are the late George and Ruth Barnett, and the late William “Bud” and Ollie Moore. Kristin Peterson, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Missy Anderson, sister of the bride, and Beth Hattan, sister of the groom. Alexa Hattan, niece of the groom, was the flower girl. Allan Hattan, brother of the groom, served as best man and Steve Peterson, brother-in-law of the bride, was a groomsman. Brady Hattan, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer. The couple was honored at a July 25 reception at the American Legion in Lacon. The bride is a graduate of Princeton High School. She received her bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University and will complete a master’s degree in May 2010. She is employed as a second-grade teacher by the Midland School District in Lacon. The groom is a graduate of Mid-County High School and Illinois Central Collage. He received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Bradley University. He is employed as a category analyst by Southern Wine and Spirits of Illinois in Bolingbrook. |
