The Seatonville man was in a two-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon on the Ottville Road, between Seatonville and Spring Valley, when another vehicle attempted to pass him and struck his pick-up. Delhotal’s dog, a 1 1/2-year old black labrador named Daisy, was thrown from the pick-up and was last seen running away through a nearby cornfield. Delhotal is now home from the hospital and recovering from the accident, but his thoughts and concerns are about finding, Daisy, a family member told the BCR on Monday morning. Daisy is wearing a dark blue collar with no tags and is generally friendly. It is unknown if she is injured, or to what extent. The family has contacted local veterinarians and animal shelters to see if anyone has found the dog or brought it in for treatment. If anyone sees Daisy, individuals are asked to contact the family at (815) 878-1556 or (815) 878-1557. Comment on this story at www.bcrnews.com. Comments
