BYRON — No golfers from St. Bede or Princeton advanced out of the Byron Sectional Monday in Byron.

Elgin St. Edwards (386) and Alleman (399) both gained state berths to the state tournament in Bloomington this weekend, St. Bede finished ninth with a team score of 462.

Bekki Prokup led the way for the Lady Bruins carding a 108, her sister Barbi shot a 117, Olivia Dean added a 118, and Katie Gregorich finished with a 119.

Individual participants Jessica Headley (123) and Alizabeth Fiorini (103) of Princeton also failed to make the state cut.
