Save Ohio schools

I am Sean Piper, a resident of Oho and custodian at Ohio schools. I am around to see how much all the students love being a part of a small school. They all get along well together and seem like a big happy family.
Sharon Flesher, our superintendent, is a good boss and keeps me updated when former students and other residents, young and old, come in the building and say how nice everything looks and what excellent condition our school is in. It warms my heart.
I was able to ride the bus to and from the grade school basketball tournament in Malden recently. Ohio took first place, and the kids were all very excited, giving me high fives. And they were glad I was there to support them.
I love Ohio because everybody pulls together to help with different activities. Market Day is one that helps the school purchase new computers and different things. We may be a small school, but we’re mighty and dedicated.
The school budget is good. We are in the black, and with the new windmills coming in, that will bring more money into the school.
I hope that the school and the community will keep growing because in a small town, everyone sticks together. That’s what makes it a town. This town is family, and I am glad to be a part of it.
