KidLit Trivia Night fundraiser set for Saturday

PRINCETON — This past weekend, KidLit coordinator LuAnn Salz and her husband, Trey R. Barker, attended Bouchercon 2009 and brought home some great titles to raffle at their trivia night fundraiser.

“Bouchercon is an annual convention of mystery writers and fans,” explains Salz.  “Trey has attended almost every year since 2005 to promote his writing, and I thought it would be a great opportunity to get some autographed books.”

Salz brought home a total of 16 books, all autographed and inscribed by the author with “Thanks for supporting KidLit.”  The hardcover books include the newest releases from Harlan Coben, Michael Connelly, Lee Child, and Charlaine Harris.  “All of the authors were so gracious and thrilled that the books were going to a charity, especially a children’s literacy charity,” Salz said.  Tamar Myers, Kate Collins, and Donald Bain are some of the authors whose books will be available in paperback. These, too, are new titles.
