MANLIUS — Members of the Manlius Historical Society inspected progress of painting at the bank before meeting for their regular meeting.
President Lois Swanson led the group in pledge of allegiance and then asked Kenneth Rodgers for minutes of the Sept. 21 meeting and treasurer’s report. Swanson reported Sherwin Williams paint donated by Dave Panzica of Peru store and Don Roby of Princeton store was being used and also a news article had been sent to five newspapers and Kurtz Glass has installed glass. Eighty letters were sent on Oct. 6 asking for donations and there were 13 responses. It was noted that anyone who gave $100 would become a lifetime member. The group’s next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at the village hall.
