Grand jury considers cases

PRINCETON — A Bureau County grand jury considered the following cases at its Oct. 13 session:

• Michael R. Carrico, 21, of Ohio, Ill., was indicted for the Class 4 felony of criminal damage to government-supported property. He is accused of knowingly damaging property, a door, belonging to the village of Ohio on Sept. 14. Deputy Dan Smith, with the Bureau County Sheriff’s Department, testified before the grand jury. Carrico is in custody with bond set at $15,000.

• Charles E. Ragan, 31, of Princeton was indicted for the Class 4 felony of unlawful use of a debit card. He is accused of using a credit card of another person on Sept. 6. Sgt. Ben Atkinson with the Princeton Police Department testified before the grand jury. Ragan is in custody with bond set at $10,000.

• There were three suppressed cases.
