PRINCETON — Lance Gordon Rodseth, 85, of Princeton died Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, at his home.

Born Feb. 1, 1924, in Kewanee to Andrew  and Margaret (Engles) Rodseth, he married Beverly Enright Aug. 16, 1949, at St. Louis Catholic Church in Princeton. She survives.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a medic. He worked at LCN for more than 30 years.

He was an active member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Princeton.

Also surviving are one son, William Gordon (Victoria) Rodseth of Antioch; five siblings, Larry Rodseth of California, Arnold Rodseth of Wyanet, Sharon Justi of Mark, Joanne Lepra of Kewanee and Isabel Conan of California; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded by his parents, one sister and one brother.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Princeton, with Father Jeffery Stirniman officiating. Burial will be private and at a later date. Cremation will be accorded.

There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be directed to St. Louis Catholic Church.

The Norberg Memorial Home in Princeton is in charge of arrangements.
