PORT BYRON — The Amboy/LaMoille Clippers shut out the host Riverdale Rams 19-0 Friday to advance to 8-1.

The Clippers got on the board in the first quarter with a 2-yard touchdown run from Brian Appleman.

Amboy added two scores in the second quarter, a 5-yard touchdown run from Appleman, and a 21-yard hookup from Steve Apple to Westin Montavon to give the Clippers a 19-0 halftime lead. Neither team managed to score in the second half.
