She weighed 8 pounds, and measured 20 inches in length. Maternal grandparents are Jeff Russell of Palos Hills and Teresa English of Earlville. Paternal grandparents are Howard and Bonnie Sebby of Utica. Great-grandparents are John and Joyce English of Liberty, Mo., Ernest Russell of Earlville and Marcie Bolden of Wedron.

Walter: Ronald and Tiffany (Lowery) Walter of Tonica are the parents of a son, Casey James, born Oct. 20 at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley. He weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces, and measured 19 inches in length. He was welcomed home by one brother, Jacob, 15. Maternal grandparent is Tim Lowery of Big Rock. Paternal grandparents are James and Patricia Walter of Granville. Great-grandparent is Franklyn Powell of Big Rock.

Salsman: Steven and Annelies (Ultch) Salsman of Tiskilwa are the parents of a daughter, Gabrielle Opelouise, born Oct. 24 at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton. She weighed 9 pounds, 1 ounce, and measured 21 1/2 inches in length. She was welcomed home by one brother Cameron, 7, and one sister, Olivia, 4.

Grisham: Joel and Lisa (Beatty) Grisham of LaSalle are the parents of a son, Kennen Eugene, born Oct. 26 at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley. He weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces, and measured 18 1/2 inches in length. He was welcomed home by two sisters, Sharia, 1, and Shanaya, 3.

He weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and measured 20 1/2 inches in length. Maternal grandparents are Randy and Deb Hornung. Paternal grandparents are Charlie and Molly Thrasher.

Scassiferro: Larry Scassiferro and Manda Cresong of Ladd are the parents of a daughter born Oct. 27 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru.
