J.A. Happ and the Philadelphia Phillies will not repeat as World Series champion, falling to the New York Yankees 7-3 Wednesday at Yankee Stadium. Happ, a St. Bede graduate, pitched one inning in relief where he gave up one hit and struck out three, making his second appearance in the 2009 World Series. LaSalle native Chad Durbin also pitched one-third of an inning in relief for the Phillies Wednesday.
