SPRING VALLEY — It’s time for Spring Valley’s lights to shine for the Holiday Home Lighting contest. Registration forms and a $5 donation must be turned in by Nov. 25, and judging will take place between Dec. 1-11. Maps will be available at City Hall or online at www.spring-valley.il.us after Dec. 1.

Winners will be announced in the Mini-Park after the Santa Parade on Dec. 12. Hot chocolate and roasted chestnuts will be available for sale in the Mini-Park after the parade. Prizes are:

• 1st Prize -$100

• 2nd Prize - $75

• 3rd Prize - $50
