Stanley Moore

LAKELAND, Fla. — Stanley Kay Moore, 72, of Lakeland, Fla., formerly of Princeton, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, from respiratory failure.

He was born in Mineral. He formerly worked for LCN Manufacturing in Princeton and was a former manager of Bridges Restaurant in Largo, Fla.

He was a past governor of Princeton Moose Lodge in Princeton and former coach of the Junior Bowling League in Princeton.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Carol J. Moore of Lakeland, Fla.; one son, Tony Moore of St. Petersburg, Fla.; one daughter, Tammy (Tom) Standifer of Lakeland, Fla.; one sister, Judi McDonald of Galva; and three grandchildren, Brinley, Trey and Brooke Standifer of Lakeland, Fla.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, Southside Chapel, 1727 Bartow Road, Lakeland, Fla.

The Princeton High School Tigers beat the Rock Falls Rockets Wednesday 66-55 during sectional play at Byron. The Tigers will now play the undefeated Winnebago Indians at 7:30 p.m. Friday for the sectional championship.
