AMBOY — The Indian Creek FFA Alumni will host its 12th annual Club Calf Sale on Nov. 22 at the Lee County 4-H Fairgrounds on Route 30 near Amboy. The sale begins at 1 p.m.

The sale will include more than 40 steers/heifers with most breeds represented. Producers from throughout Northern Illinois are selling top quality show calves.

The Indian Creek FFA Alumni sale has earned the reputation for being an excellent annual local source to buy show and breeding calves. The sale offers a great opportunity for 4-H and FFA members to purchase quality show calves, as well.

This event has been a successful fundraiser event for the Indian Creek FFA Alumni Chapter through sale profits and the sale day food stand. Profits help sponsor scholarships for FFA members to attend the state and national conventions, leadership seminars, and other events as well as local chapter activities.

On Nov. 22, the FFA food stand opens at 11 a.m. Cattle will be on display at noon.

Lee County Fairgrounds is located on Route 30, one-half mile east of Routes 30 and 52.

For more information and to obtain a sale catalog, contact sale managers Wally and Laura Harvell, (815) 824-2056 or (815) 739-9098.
