Kramer-Koch
Leah Kramer of Peoria and Derek Koch of Galesburg were united in marriage Sept. 19 in the Concordia Lutheran Church, Geneseo, by the Revs. John Wohlrabe, Stuart Brassie and Barry Long officiating. Nuptial music was provided by Carmen Pamperin, organist. The bride is the daughter of Bill and Kathy Kramer of Princeton. The groom is the son of Rodney and Margaret Koch of North Judson, Ind. The bride wore a satin off-the-shoulder A-line dress with side draper. Her veil was fingertip length and made from her mother’s veil. She carried mini white hydrangeas and red alstromeria lilies. Rachel Kramer and Emily Kramer, sisters of the bride, were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Widman, friend of the couple, and Danielle Eaton, friend of the bride. The attendants wore tea-length bing cherry dreses with lace overlay. They carried mini white hydrangeas. Paul Schumacher and Brandon Theis, friends of the groom, served as best men. Groomsmen were Carl Schumacher and Keith Schumacher, friends of the groom. A reception to honor the couple was held in the church fellowship hall. Assistants at the reception were Alan and Sandy Beuster. After a wedding trip to St. Louis, Mo., the couple is making their home in Peoria. The bride is a 2003 graduate of Princeton High School and a 2008 graduate of Trinity College of Nursing and Health Sciences. She is a registered nurse at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. The groom is a 2003 graduate of North Judson-San Pierre High School and a 2009 graduate of the National Academy of Railroad Science. He is a locomotive engineer for BNSF Railways in Galesburg.
