SPRING VALLEY — Project Success of Eastern Bureau County Inc. is in need of toys to benefit the approximately 400 children whose parents will participate in “Santa’s Workshop” from 8 a.m. to noon Dec. 5.

Santa’s Workshop will benefit children in Arlington, Bureau Cherry, Ladd, Spring Valley, Dalzell, DePue, Seatonville and Hollowayville. The event is by invitation only.

Drop off locations are Spring Valley City Bank, Curves in Spring Valley, North Central Bank in Ladd, Locker Room, State Bank of Cherry, and Citizens Bank in Spring Valley and DePue.

“With the economy the way it is, we need to ask people to dig deep into their pockets and help Project Success of Eastern Bureau County Inc. to provide a wonderful Christmas for all the children in need,” said Candyce Wolsfeld from Project Success.

Toys for ages preschool to 18 are needed. The deadline is Dec. 4. Toys will be collected by volunteers and taken to the workshop for set-up. Donations may also be taken to 500 N. Terry in Spring Valley. Monetary donations maybe mailed to: P.O. Box 208, Spring Valley, IL 61362 or dropped off at Spring Valley City Bank.

All donations are tax-deductible. Project Success of Eastern Bureau County Inc. is a not-for-profit agency located at 500 N. Terry in Spring Valley. It is the parent agency of the Hall Township Food Pantry and many other programs.
