Toys needed for annual Santa’s Workshop

SPRING VALLEY — Project Success of Eastern Bureau County is in need of toys to benefit about 400 children who’s parents will participate in “Santa’s Workshop” from 8 a.m. to noon Dec. 5.

Santa’s Workshop will benefit children in Arlington, Bureau Cherry, Ladd, Spring Valley, Dalzell, DePue, Seatonville and Hollowayville. The event is by invitation only.

Drop off locations are Spring Valley City Bank, Curves in Spring Valley, North Central Bank in Ladd, Locker Room, State Bank of Cherry, and Citizens Bank in Spring Valley and DePue.

Toys for ages preschool to 18 are needed. The deadline is Dec. 4. Toys will be collected by volunteers and taken to the workshop for set-up. Donations may also be taken to 500 N. Terry in Spring Valley. Monetary donations maybe mailed to: P.O. Box 208, Spring Valley, IL 61362 or dropped off at Spring Valley City Bank.

All donations are tax-deductible. Project Success of Eastern Bureau County Inc. is a not-for-profit agency located at 500 N. Terry in Spring Valley. It is the parent agency of the Hall Township Food Pantry and many other programs.
