SPRING VALLEY — The traditional cookie walk, sponsored by the Spring Valley United Church of Christ (Congregational), will be from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. A variety of holiday cookies and candies will be offered in a “select your own” style at a cost of $6 per pound. Homemade peanut brittle will be sold at $6 per bag. There will also be a variety of homemade crafts. For more information, contact the church office at (815) 663-1951. The church is located at Erie and Power streets.
