I was sickened to see the colored photo and the headline below. The media’s loss of respect to that family to print on the front page the photo of the vehicle where Mrs. Jensen lost her life was unforgivable and so disrespectful to the family. I suffered a great loss 37 years ago when my father was killed at the crossroads near Malden in a similar incident as Mrs. Jensen’s, and the photo of my father’s car was also printed, and my family suffered a great deal from those photos. Can’t we find something more newsworthy to print on the front page of our local newspaper without hurting people? My heart goes out to the Jensen family for their loss and shock of loosing a loved one so suddenly. Becky Burger Princeton |
