Orwigs will note 40th wedding anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Orwig of 13425 Wyanet-Walnut Road, Wyanet, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Jan. 3, 2010, at the Leet Memorial United Methodist Church in Bradford.

Leslie Orwig and the former Rebecca Tumbleson were married Dec. 27, 1969, in the Leet Memorial United Methodist Church in Bradford. They have lived and farmed their entire life near Wyanet.

They are the parents of two sons, Steven (Ann) Orwig of Wyoming, Ill., and J.D. (Shelley) Orwig of Princeton, and one daughter, Erin Orwig of Macomb. They also have five grandchildren, Blake and Lauren Orwig of Wyoming, Ill., and Elizabeth, Red and Jack Orwig of Princeton.

The family requests that gifts be omitted.
