PRINCETON — Festival 56 will hold its annual gala at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Chapel Hill Golf Course, Route 26, south of Princeton. The 2014 Festival 56 cast will perform cabaret entertainment, there will be hors d’euvres, a cash bar, a live auction and a raffle. Cocktail party attire is suggested. Tickets are $35 and are available by phone at 815-879-5656 or at the Festival 56 box office. Reservations are required.

Pink Heals Tour

LAMOILLE — The LaMoille Ambulance and Fire Department will host the Pink Heals Tour from 5 to 8 p.m. July 8 at the fire station. The Pink Heals Tour is a fire truck painted pink and travels the country rallying communities together to celebrate women. The tour is focused on the fight against cancer.

Retired teachers meeting

GENESEO — The Henry/Stark counties retired teachers will meet at noon July 9 at the First United Methodist Church, 303 N. State, Geneseo. The afternoon will begin with a luncheon. Dick Wells and Jani Tiska will present a program, Red, White and Blue.

HCE meeting

PRINCETON — The Northwest Princeton unit of HCE will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Wise Guys in Princeton. This will be the group’s annual Night Out.

Buddy Bags drawdown

PRINCETON — The Princeton Buddy Bags will hold a back to school drawdown on Aug. 16 at the Princeton Elks Lodge. Doors will open at 5 p.m. with dinner from 6 to 7:30 p.m. There will be live music by 212. Tickets are $40 each and covers admission and dinner for two people. Only 200 tickets will be sold.
