The holidays are an exciting time of year, but it may seem like you never have enough time to get ready. From preparing meals, buying presents and cleaning your home before friends and family arrive, time seems to always run short. So wouldn’t it be nice if you could save time on even one of those monumental tasks? With the right tools, and a few helpful ideas, you’ll be spending your time celebrating the season instead of fretting about the cleaning.

With new products, like the latest innovation from Swiffer and BISSELL, holiday hosting will be a breeze. The Swiffer BISSELL STEAMBOOST steam mop offers a new way to deeply steam clean floorsthat removes the dirt and films traditional mops can leave behind. The steam’s heat activates the dirt dissolving solution in the cleaning pad. Together, they break down dirt, and trap and lock it away, providing a visibly better clean.

Starting Nov. 24 until Dec. 31, buy a Swiffer BISSELL STEAMBOOST starter kit and receive a $15 mail-in rebate on their purchase. Once you have received your prepaid card rebate, you could even buy another one for a friend or family member to help ease their holiday preparation. For more information on the rebate, visit . Limit one rebate per purchase. Rebate restrictions and card terms apply. Open to U.S. residents only.

In addition to having the newest products to make holiday prep a cinch, lifestyle expert, Amy Goodman, offers some additional tips to clean up in a snap and help create an inviting atmosphere for your guests:

* Make decorative use of holiday cards received. Using double-stick tape, arrange your cards on a wall in the shape of your last name initial like a monogram (for example “B” for Brown); it makes for a festive hall.

* Change linens no sooner than two nights before your overnight guests arrive so they smell fresh: add seasonal flowers and greens in a vase to a bedside table. Travel-size shampoos and conditioners are a nice touch, too.

* Have a system for cleaning dishes. Wash similar items together, and save wine glasses for last. Use fresh drying towels to wipe down glasses to avoid water stains and any residual odors from being transferred from towel to glass.

For more steam cleaning tips and tricks, visit .
