Polka time in Princeton

The Die Musikmeisters German Band performs German music at its finest during Saturday’s Oktoberfest celebration at the Bureau County Fairgrounds in Princeton. More than 500 people attended the Oktoberfest celebration, which featured a variety of German food including schnitzel, spatzel and gravy, red cabbage, German potato salad, sauerkraut and German desserts. An accordionist also performed during the dinner hour, with the Die Musikmeisters German Band playing not only on traditional instruments but also on the cow bells.
