We’re still into the cold chilling weather, so I thought some stew recipes would take off the chill in the air. Plus, it’s an easy, one-pot meal and just one pot to wash. Enjoy.
I really like to put a roast in to bake; you can pop them in the oven or crock pot with some vegetables on the side, and you’ve got a meal you don’t have to watch and worry over. With some seasonings, they more or less cook themselves.
With all the snow and cold weather, maybe it’s time to think of the South and some of their wonderful recipes. There are many I absolutely loved when I lived down there, and I brought many back home with me.
In the throes of winter, there’s nothing better than a hot bowl of soup or stew to take the chill out of the air. Add some of your favorite bread and a salad, and you’ve got a meal that will keep the whole family happy.
