The Princeton Junior Woman’s Club has awarded 10 camp scholarships to (front row) Maggie Davis, Abby Davis, Andrew Bartolucci and Christian Smith; and (back row) Olivia Joehl, Alisa Holmbeck, Autumn Bousum and Dustin Fultz. Absent from the photo were Kimberly Glenn and Kristyn Bettner. Twenty-six applications were reviewed by the education committee and the recipients were selected based on a variety of things, including their overall essays, based on their age. The campers will attend a variety of scout, church and sports camps.

PRINCETON — The Perry Memorial Hospital Foundation will host a wine tasting evening from 6 to 9 p.m. May 10 at A Hundred Acres Orchard and Market in Princeton. The event will include wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres with music provided by the “River City String Trio”. Tickets are $50 per person.

PRINCETON — Princeton’s Prairie Art Council will award the annual $1,000 art scholarship this spring. All art students who reside in Bureau County, and who will be attending college as an art major in the fall of 2013, are invited to apply.

MANLIUS — The Grand Reunion II, sponsored by the Manlius High School Class of 1948, for members and their guests of the classes of 1932 to 1953 will begin at noon May 18 at Hunter's Ridge Golf Course, Route 26 south of Princeton. Members of the 1914-1931 classes and their guests are also welcome to attend.

Piehl Motors Inc. presented $500 and several pieces of equipment to the Wyanet Youth Baseball League on April 27. The equipment kits included items like equipment bags, baseball buckets, practice hitting nets, umpire ball bags, batting tees and Chevrolet Youth Baseball T-shirts.
