WALNUT — A pancake and sausage breakfast, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 3 in St. John’s Church Hall. Seminarian Andru O’Brien will speak on his seminary experiences. A free will offering will be collected.
LASALLE — Sabrina Gaeta, who will spend 11 months as an exchange student in Norway, was the speaker at the May 8 meeting of Court de LaSalle of Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
PRINCETON — New Hope Church of the Nazarene will host a going-away party to say good-bye to the Rev. Kim Evans at noon Sunday at the church.
SHEFFIELD — The First United Church of Christ in Sheffield will host its monthly community coffee from 7 to 10 a.m. June 2 in the UCC Parish Hall. Fresh-baked cinnamon rolls will be served.
PRINCETON — Registrations are being accepted for the SonRise vacation Bible school at the Evangelical Covenant Church at 24 N. Main St. in Princeton. The school will be from 9 a.m. to noon June 18-24. All children entering kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to participate in the fun crafts, music, Bible stories and more. PRINCETON — The First Lutheran Church will hold its fourth annual Old Wheels Show, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the church parking lots at 116 N. Pleasant St. in Princeton.
LASALLE — A Polka Mass will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at St. Hyacinth Church in LaSalle. The Polka Massters from Joliet will perform at the event.
PRINCETON — The Shekinah Riders, the Princeton area chapter of the Christian Motorcycle Association, is seeking members to join them in their work for Christ.
