10 of Soul, Chicago Farmer entertain hundreds
Hundreds of people turned out Tuesday evening for the second performance in Princeton Tourism’s Down on Main Street Summer Concert Series, and the musical acts didn’t disappoint. 10 of Soul, a Quad Cities-based group, brought an upbeat “soul, funk, and everything in between” sound to the South Main Street venue, while Cody Dickhoff, billed as the Chicago Farmer, brought his working-class folk music to the Down on Main Street stage. According to 10 of Soul’s website, band members are Nina Little, Dwayne Hodges, Chrissy Boyer, Jim Powell, Tyler Roberson, David Abdo, John Ladson, Kevin Bohach, Travis Lopez, Mike McMann and Rusty Ruggles. Dickhoff, the Chicago Farmer, grew up in Delavan, Illinois, and has lived in Chicago since 2003. The next Down on Main Street concert, Cousin Eddie, four decades of rock ‘n’ roll, takes place Friday, July 20.
